Well, as promised, here is my weekend. It started on Friday with an early start and a trip to Grand Blanc to watch my brother compete in the singles portion of the MHSAA Regionals for bowling. I would say that Bay City Western got put into a very hard, if not the best, conference in the state. Mickey did pretty good and I felt really good because I coached him most of the way through. It gave me a really rewarding feeling. They would take the top ten qualifiers after 6 games were bowled. After 3 games Mickey was 45th of 69 and averaged 193 (For those who don't know much about high school bowling, a 193 average per game should have probably put him in the top 15 or at least 20) He went out his next two games with a 244 and 233 and moved up to 15th place and was only 15 pins behind 10th. He came out the last game and missed some spares and only shot 146 and feel to 24th. It was a pretty impressive run though. Later that night we went and saw "The Number 23" Really strange but nonetheless good movie. Saturday was a lot like Friday... I went down to Grand Blanc again to watch the Team portion of the tournament... The guys didn't do as good as I thought they might and they didn't qualify for states. After that I went to Adam's house. I stayed the night there and we had a pretty good time. Sunday (today) was pretty awesome.... Went to the Pistons game and got to bring down the house on Big Ben. I've been angery since he left so this was my chance to let him have it. The Pistons won in probably the greatest game I have seen at the palace 95-93. Came home after that and now here I am... doing my blog. Looking forward to the last week here before spring break. Well thats all for now. Be back with some more stuff later this week.

Weekday Update
Well it's been a couple of days since i've been on here but here we go.
Monday
Nothing too impressive... I had school and work. In my break between the two, I finished up my paper for Media History and helped make some of the graphics for the TV show in Media Pro. 3. After work I went home and watched CSI: Miami.
Tuesday
Pretty much a carbon-copy of Monday without the work. Raquetball was pretty cool and I won my first game so far this semester. WOO HOO!!! I also had my final class for LW 220 and took the final. I didn't think I did to well on it so I will just have to wait and hope I passed. I also had DVD and Media History. I went out that night after class and bought "The Prestige". This is a great movie and I recommend everyone see it.
Wednesday
Had class and work like Monday. This time on my break, I went out and got my cashed my federal income check, got my oil changed, washed my car, and paid my car insurance. I'm really happy I was able to get all fo that out-of-the-way.
Coming Soon
My brother's High School Bowling Regionals and Ben Wallace's Homecoming game at the Palace.

Crazy Sunday
Bowling, more bowling, and NASCAR oh my! That was my sunday. Started with bowling for travel league in the morning. I really didn't do good and it was no big deal. Came home to watch more bowling which is just like any other sunday too. This was followed by the Daytona 500. It started out pretty boring with very little action and the field was really spread out. With about 50 laps to go Tony Stewart and Kurt Busch (running 1 and 2 at the time) crashed each other and then the race really began. The pack was bunched up for the rest of the race and the racing was tight. This set up for the best finish I have really ever seen for a Nextel Cup race. It's not every race that you get to see the winner of the race win by .02 seconds with the field crashing behind them and one guy crossing the finish line on fire and on his roof. It was a pretty awesome end to a usually regular and boring Sunday.

Braketbuster Saturday
Well it was the usual Saturday for me. Woke up at about 7:30 this morning for bowling. Started off sort of bad shooting 172 and 185 my first two games, but I came out strong my last game with a 234 and ended up with a slightly above average series. Came home after that and pretty much watched TV the rest of the day. I watched Michigan barely pull out their game against #19 Indiana as well as watched Gonzaga lose in OT vs. #9 Memphis... I love college basketball if ya couldn't tell. To round out the sports extravaganza for the day, I watched the NBA all-star competition. The dunk contest was better than some previous ones I had seen with my pick (Gerald Green of the Boston Celtics) winning. Although the best dunk of the night, in my opinion, went to Dwight Howard with his "Sticker Dunk" as I am calling it. The man jumps 12" 6', puts a sticker of his face on the top of the back board, and proceeds to throw the ball down... It was pretty awesome. Well thats all for now. Check back tomorrow for yet another entry.

First
Well, after reading Matt's blog, I decided to start my own. They seem pretty cool and a lot of people have them. Today was a pretty ordinary Friday. I got up at about 10 and made my way to Delta to video tape an interview for my friend Adam for a news story I was doing for The Palm (This is the student video magazine show that airs on PBS that my Media Production 3 class totally makes. I will provide more information as to when these shows will air when we start tapping and they become available) Then I went into Bay City to get my oil changed at Tuffy only to find out that they are out of oil!!! Honestly, what car maintenance place runs low on oil and doesn't order more? That kind of sucked because usually Friday is the only day I have to do it and my car is well over due for one. From there Adam and I went to the mall to see my mom and get lunch at Chen's. Next stop for me was home where I was pretty much lazy for the rest of the day and did a little laundry. Well that's all for now. Check back for more tomorrow.
